About me
Tammi Hogan is a licensed independent clinical social worker in Washington, D.C. As a specialist in trauma informed practices, she has worked for two decades in nonprofit human services administration, and provided direct services to survivors of trauma and violence. Her direct service experiences include working with youth, adults and families in crisis, in a wide range of settings and including involvement with child welfare and juvenile justice systems. Within the last decade, her focus has been on sexual violence, including sexual assault and child sexual abuse. She currently develops and supervises all clinical, hotline and advocacy services at D.C. Rape Crisis Center, which values the importance of consent, equity, and accessibility and is committed to the belief that all forms of oppression are linked.
