About me
Stef Woods is an educator, health advocate, immigration attorney, and public speaker. She has been featured by numerous media outlets and publications, including The Associated Press, NPR, MSNBC, Univision, Forbes, The Washington Post, and USA Today. As a faculty member at American University, Stef taught 38 courses over eight years, developing the curriculum for 32 classes. Her college courses were highlighted by The New York Times, Entertainment Weekly magazine, Buzzfeed, and Business Insider.
Stef received her Juris Doctorate degree from the American University Washington College of Law and a Master's of Liberal Studies in International Affairs from Georgetown University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College with a double major in Political Science and English. Stef currently teaches middle-school and upper-school wellness at Maret School and Georgetown Day School with a focus on health, relationships, sexual education, and digital engagement.
