About me
Steve is a financial services professional at Edelman Financial Engines and a survivor of child sexual abuse, currently serving on the I Have The Right To Board. In both roles, Steve talks openly and frankly about the life-long impact of the aftermath of what was done to him so that others don’t struggle in isolation.
With the help of his family, significant investment in mental health therapy and a chance encounter with the Prout family on LinkedIN, Steve has discovered a healthier, loving path forward - shedding shame and blame after decades of private suffering.
Steve has shared his story to help others learn and heal in schools, in the media, to lawmakers, and to corporate audiences across the country.
