About me
Robert Platt is a Senior Assistant United States Attorney in the Sex Offense Unit of the Superior Court Division in the D.C. U.S. Attorney’s Office (USAO). Rob received his B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science from George Washington University in 2009, and his J.D. and M.P.H. from GWU in 2013. Prior to joining the USAO, Rob spent 5 years as a Compliance & Government Investigations associate in Bass Berry & Sims’ Washington, DC office, where his work focused on health care fraud investigations and white collar defense. Rob joined the USAO in February 2019 and has served in the Appellate Division, the Misdemeanor Domestic Violence Unit, including on the Specialized Caseload, the Felony Trial and Case Initiation Units of the General Crimes Section, and the Domestic Violence Felony Unit of the Superior Court Division.
