About me
Miriam Levitin, MSW, CSE (she/her/hers) is a Certified Sexuality Educator and passionate advocate for sexual autonomy. A New York native, she received a BA in Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies from Duke University and MSW with a concentration in Sexual Health Education from Washington University in St. Louis. Currently, she coordinates the sexual health program at the University of Maryland, where she both provides and works to expand students’ access to sexual health care and resources. Previously, she managed the teen dating violence prevention program at JCADA. Through these positions and her independent consulting business, over the past 5 years Miriam has educated thousands of youth and adults about topics such as anatomy, reproduction, pregnancy and STI prevention, communication, boundaries, and healthy relationships. She loves living in D.C. with her partner and their growing number of plants.
