Dr. Guyton shares her experience of being raped while serving in the U.S. Army to show Victims how she overcame the challenges associated with sexual abuse. She will openly discuss why she never reported the incident, self- blame, her suicide attempts, and how her life changed after becoming a Victim. During this workshop she will also share her journey of the different stages that can possibly happen and how she went from being a Victim to becoming a Champion for Survivors by creating a global nonprofit called HUSH No More. a film producer, and an author. Her goal is to inspire by showing Victims and Victim Advocates a different perception of what the future looks like after someone has violated you for their personal satisfaction. You can heal and become a Champion!
