From false statistics to unheard stories, the Incest AWAREness movement has been repressed throughout history. Today, survivors and supporters are seeking to uncover the stories of those who came before us, share our own without shame, and gather statistics to promote prevention so that children are safe in the first place. Join the founder of Incest AWARE, Josephine A. Lauren, to listen to the movement's past and present, so that you can be a part of our future.

Learn how to design a social movement from the ground up using the principles of Design Thinking, as well as the lessons learned from the history of anti-incest grass roots organizing. Join Josephine A. Lauren, a designer and organizer of the Incest AWAREness Movement, to learn then launch your own organizing campaigns within realistic constraints of time, resources, and place in history.

In this workshop you'll be introduced to three important parts of yourself – the Inner Critic, the Inner Child and the Adult-Self. Together we’ll explore how to recognize these different internal voices – or parts of yourself – that subconsciously run your life.

Additionally, you’ll gain understanding about how the autonomic nervous system relates to these different parts and how the different trauma responses impact these three parts of yourself.

Overall, you’ll leave feeling more connected and in control of both your mind and body for a deeper understanding of yourself and those around you.
