Art Workshop - Resilience Quilting: Stitching a Community for Survivors
Saturday November 23, 2024 2:00pm - 2:50pm EST
Resilience quilting refers to the practice of creating quilts that break the silence around sexual violence and survivorship. Quilting offers an unconventional way to tell stories through art, and marginalized groups often use quilting as a medium that allows them to speak out against injustices and build community. Participants in this workshop will create a Resilience Quilt demonstrating our solidarity as survivors and allies against sexual violence.
